Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to sell my home?

While spring is traditionally a popular time to sell, the best time depends on market conditions, buyer demand, and your personal situation. A real estate agent can advise based on local trends.

How do I prepare my property for sale?

Declutter, clean, make minor repairs, and consider styling or staging your home. First impressions matter—both online and in person—so invest in professional photography.

Do I need a real estate agent to sell my home?

Using an agent offers expertise, negotiation skills, and access to more buyers. However, private sales are possible if you’re confident managing the process yourself.

What costs are involved in selling a property?

Common costs to consider include agent commissions, marketing, legal/conveyancing fees, and possibly capital gains tax (if it’s not your primary residence).
